The Sharon City School District will be providing meals to students during the Coronavirus closure. Beginning Wednesday, March 18, brown-bagged lunch and a supplemental breakfast will be available to any Sharon resident age 18 and younger that needs it.
Meals can be picked up at the sites listed below Monday - Friday from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM. We ask families to follow the signs for entry into the buildings. Students must be present and may pick up only a single meal daily. No meals may be eaten on site. Also, no adult meals may be purchased at this time.

Juniors and Seniors: The College Board is CANCELING the MAY 2, 2020, SAT administration. Makeup exams for the March 14 administration (scheduled for March 28) ARE ALSO CANCELED. Refunds will be provided to all students who were registered for May, whose March test centers were closed, or who do not receive March scores due to an irregularity.
ETS will provide future additional SAT testing opportunities for students as soon as feasible in place of canceled administrations. The June 6, 2020 SAT administration has not been cancelled and ETS will continue to assess its status."

Case Avenue Parents: Due to the closure of the schools today due to the Corona Virus crisis the Case Avenue Mother Son Event scheduled for tomorrow, March 14 has been canceled and rescheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2020. Information on the event will be provided once school resumes.

Corrected:Please be advised. Gov. Wolf has declared that all Pennsylvania schools are closed effective Monday, March 16, 2020 through and including Friday, March 27 due to the Coronavirus outbreak. We are working to develop plans for food and instruction during this shutdown.

Congratulations to SHS Senior Sully Allen on claiming the PIAA Northwest Regional Championship at 152lbs. With the win, Sully will complete for a State title in Hershey. Also representing the Tigers at Regionals were: Eli Buck, 132lbs; Nick Dignall 6th place 145lbs.

Congratulations to Sharon's Gianna Labbiento who placed 2nd the the girls 3000m race at the PTFCA Indoor Championships. As a result of her finish, Gianna will be running in the State Indoor Track & Field Championships on March 1 at Penn State University's Track & Field complex.

C. M. Musser Elementary has been named a 2019-20 Title I Distinguished School. To receive this honor, a school had to show sustained academic growth for two consecutive years on the PSSAs, while being part of the Title I program. Congratulations to our Musser students and staff!
