**All students are reminded during virtual instruction that they must submit their attendance on the attendance form in their FIRST PERIOD teacher’s Google Classroom by 9:05 AM. If a student is absent from school during virtual instruction, parents are asked to fill out the absence form on the middle or high school website:

Today, the Sharon City School District was notified of a number of additional COVID-19 positive cases in our schools. In response to these cases we are working closely with the PA Department of Health and following all of their recommendations, along with implementing all of our in-house safety protocols. Attention SHS students 15 years of age and older wishing to take Driver's Education:
The 2nd round of Driver's Education class will begin on Monday, November 2nd.
This class will only be available through Google Classroom. If you wish to take the class please use your google account to join using the classroom code: iknycfh
All you need to do is join the class by Monday 11/2/20 and complete the posted assignments on time. I will post the first assignment on Monday. Attention Sharon High School students who ordered a copy of the 2020 Sharon High School yearbook- after a great deal of hard work and long hours of production, the books have arrived at the school! 2020 graduates and virtual students can arrange pick up by emailing sharonybook@gmail.com and books will be put in the main office. Please provide the staff with at least 24 hour notice before you plan to come and get your book. If you are not sure if you ordered a book or not, then you can email the staff and they will be happy to help. There are 20 extra books for sale on a first come first serve basis at a cost of $80. Checks can be made payable to Sharon High School Yearbook. Thanks so much and enjoy Sharon High School’s 7th award winning yearbook in 8 years.
Attention SHS 2019-2020 NHS Inductees and Parents:
Our NHS induction ceremony scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020 will take place at 9:45 AM. All inductees who are on the virtual platform are asked to report to the High School office by 9:30 AM to get temperatures taken. Our program this year is closed to all visitors including parents. Parents are welcome to view the induction on the live stream link below. This link will be live at 9:40 AM. Inductees are reminded that they are to dress up for the ceremony.
