A Note From Mr. Fitzgerald...
Attention all Sharon Middle/High School students:
Just as a general reminder please make sure you are taking care of your school issued Chromebook. While they have made things easier and provide many educational opportunities - they must be taken care of properly. We have seen many computers being returned when students move, need a repair or may simply just stop working and the condition that they are in when they are returned is not acceptable. If a computer is determined to not work properly due to your care, you will be required to pay for the repair or replacement of the computer. You should not be eating or drinking around the device and you should wipe it off frequently. We have seen computers brought back that have food scrapes dried to them, scratches all over them, cracked screens and so on. At the start of the school year you signed a technology agreement policy that stated you were responsible for any damages to the device while it was in your possession. "Possession" means from the time we gave it to you until the time we collect it back. We do not want to see anyone have to pay for the device due to lack of proper care, but if we do get them back or have to clean them you can and will be billed for the repair services. Please take time now to clean yours up and refrain from eating, drinking or placing stickers on the computer itself.
Thank you.
