Today, the Sharon City School District was notified of a number of additional COVID-19 positive cases in our schools. In response to these cases we are working closely with the PA Department of Health and following all of their recommendations, along with implementing all of our in-house safety protocols. Sharon City School District is proud to announce that SHS students Umneya Karakra and Shahed Kanan have been accepted into the Mercer County Career Center’s National Technical Honor Society and will be inducted into the Society on November 5, 2020. Congratulations to both students and their families.
The U.S. Secretary of Agriculture has announced that the program which allows District's to provide free breakfast and lunch to all school students has now been extended through June 30, 2021.
The Sharon City School District is offering a free breakfast and free lunch to every child ages 0 to 18 years old for every school day. In-person students will use the cafeteria as usual, students attending virtually may pick up a full breakfast and lunch at Sharon High School between 9:15 - 9:45 am, or Case Ave. Elementary, West Hill Elementary or CM Musser Elementary between 9:30 – 10:00 am all free of charge! We encourage all families to take advantage of this great program.
We remain committed to providing students access to healthy, nutritious and wholesome meals while assuring the utmost food safety without compromising quality
