On behalf of the staff, I would like to welcome you to C.M. Musser Elementary School. It is truly an honor to serveas the principal at C.M. Musser Elementary. C.M. Musser Elementary School is filled with enthusiastic students who show a true passion for learning and dedicated teachers who display a commitment to provide students with a quality education.

Our staff strives to develop in our students the knowledge and skills they will need to be successful in their future endeavors. We do this through the implementation of a standards-based education. We utilize our partnership with Columbia’s Teachers College to implement the Balanced Literacy Model of providing reading and writing instruction. We celebrate our partnership with Slippery Rock Universityas we work together to enhance student learning.

Our school would not be complete if not for the dedicated individuals who serveonour PTO. We are fortunate to be supported by a very active group who provides students with numerous activities and program to enhance their education. I strongly encourage all families to attend PTO meetings throughout the year to discover the many opportunities available to be involved in our school.

It is my sincere hope that this school year will provide every child with challenging, exciting and rewarding educational experiences.
